About the Journal
International Journal of Basic and Social Sciences (IJBSS) is an online peer-reviewed multidisciplinary academic journal published by the Tinsukia College Publication Board since 2026 under the guidance of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Tinsukia College.
Aims & Scope
IJBSS is committed to publishing high-quality, original research articles, review papers, case studies, and scholarly commentaries from diverse disciplines of Basic Sciences and Social Sciences. Subject areas include, but are not limited to: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Environmental Science, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, History, Education, Commerce, and Language & Literature. While maintaining an international outlook, IJBSS places special emphasis on research addressing global issues, cross-cultural perspectives, and region-specific studies from the Global South, with particular focus on Northeast India. The journal seeks to serve as a platform for academicians, researchers, and scholars worldwide to engage in meaningful academic discourse. It aims to build a comprehensive repository of knowledge, document indigenous wisdom and practices, and contribute to global intellectual, cultural, and socio-economic development.
