International Journal of Basic and Social Sciences (IJBSS) is an online peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal started in the year 2026, published by the Tinsukia College Publication Board under the guidance of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Tinsukia College.
The journal is committed to publishing high-quality original research articles, reviews, and scholarly commentaries across diverse disciplines of basic sciences and social sciences. While maintaining a global perspective, IJBSS places special emphasis on contemporary issues, cross-cultural studies, and region-specific research from Northeast India and the Global South. IJBSS aims to create a comprehensive repository of knowledge, encourage international academic dialogue, and contribute to the educational, cultural, and socio-economic development of diverse communities worldwide. As a multidisciplinary platform, it focuses on publishing high-quality research in both basic and social sciences. The journal serves as a global forum for academicians, researchers, and policymakers to share insights across a broad spectrum of disciplines. It also seeks to bridge the gap between theoretical and applied research and welcomes contributions that meaningfully advance knowledge and technology.
Review & Publication Timeline
The peer-review process generally takes 3–4 weeks, depending on reviewer availability. Upon acceptance, articles are published within 1–2 weeks.

IJBSS is an open access journal. All content is freely available without charge to users or their institutions. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles or use them for any other lawful purpose without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author, in accordance with the Creative Commons CC BY-NC license.
Publication Ethics
IJBSS adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics and follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to maintain integrity in scholarly communication.
1. Authorship: All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research. Plagiarism, data fabrication, and duplicate submission are strictly prohibited.
2. Peer Review: All submissions undergo double-blind peer review to ensure fairness, confidentiality, and academic quality. Conflicts of Interest: Authors and reviewers must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence the work.
3. Corrections & Retractions: IJBSS will promptly publish corrections, clarifications, or retractions when needed to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
4. Copyright: Authors retain copyright of their work and grant IJBSS the right of first publication under a CC BY-NC license.
